The iconic ‘Go Go Power Rangers’ theme will be making its way into the Power Rangers Movie!
First debuting in 1993 as the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers theme song, the ‘Go Go Power Rangers’ theme became instantly recognizable around the world for its insanely catchy tune. And when Lionsgate’s new feature film hits theaters on March 24, 2017, it’ll bring with it a rendition of the iconic jingle that captivated fans of all ages.
The film’s music will be composed by Brian Tyler, the man behind the music of various Hollywood franchises including The Avengers, Fast & Furious, and more.
Per ThePowerScoop, Tyler and London-based orchestra Philharmonia have been busy recording the movie’s soundtrack throughout the past few days. And Instagram posts by various orchestra members have revealed the titles for a few of the film’s upcoming songs:
‘Birth’
‘Go Go Power Rangers’
‘The Final Stand’
Fans can likely link the titles of each song to various points throughout the movie: ‘Birth’ potentially links to the teens’ first experience donning their Ranger suits, ‘The Final Stand’ likely links to the Rangers’ last battle against Rita Repulsa, and ‘Go Go Power Rangers’ likely becomes the iconic theme that will define this re-imagined franchise.
Fans looking to hear most of the soundtrack will have to wait until the film’s release on March 24, 2017. But be sure to stay with Power Rangers NOW as more Power Rangers Movie news continues to surface.
