The Putties from Lionsgate’s upcoming Power Rangers movie have been revealed!
Bandai’s 7 inch action figure on Toys R Us gives fans their first look at Rita Repulsa’s iconic foot soldiers, which appear to sport a much larger build than those from the hit TV show.
Putty Patrols have been a long standing figure in Power Rangers’ villain history, best known for carrying out Rita’s evil bidding at her command. In the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers TV show, the Putties were created from, well – putty, at Rita’s base on the moon. They were often weak, but attacked the Power Rangers and innocent civilians in high numbers.
And while the TV show version of the Putties were puny, the Power Rangers movie’s version appear to be far more intimidating. Not only are they much larger in size, but they also appear to be made of an entirely different texture, perhaps stone or other street material?
Will the Putties prove to be much more of a threat in the Power Rangers movie? Only time will tell.
