One of the best videos you’ll watch all year has landed: Amy Jo Johnson making a surprise appearance to interview the cast of the Power Rangers movie (watch by clicking here)!
Here’s the story: Amy Jo Johnson, who played the original Pink Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, lives in Toronto. So when she heard a few of the new Power Rangers from Lionsgate’s re-imagined movie would be in town for press interviews, she decided to make a surprise appearance.
That takes us to the video – where Johnson arrived on hand to surprise Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin, and Dacre Montgomery who play the new Pink, Black, and Red Power Rangers respectively.
For Power Rangers fans, this is the first time they’ve seen the original and new Pink Rangers together – Amy Jo Johnson and Naomi Scott. Both Blue Rangers (David Yost and RJ Cyler) already met last summer, and both Black Rangers (Walter Jones and Ludi Lin) met at San Diego Comic-Con 2016.
That narrows down the chase to one: who can get the original Red Ranger, Austin St. John, in the same room as the new Red Ranger, Dacre Montgomery?
If it creates more magical moments like these, it needs to happen.
Lionsgate’s new Power Rangers movie hits theaters on March 24. Be sure to stay with Power Rangers NOW for all the latest updates.
