It’s an annual tradition – San Diego Comic-Con attendees camping overnight and going to extreme lengths for their chance to buy one of Funko’s convention exclusive products.
And this year, Power Rangers fans will have to join the madness for their chance to own Funko’s latest Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Pop! Vinyl – the Megazord.
Revealed by Diamond Select Toys, the 6 inch vinyl figure seen above will come in typical Pop! Vinyl display packaging, selling at Funko’s booth for $20 a piece. Those prices are obviously expected to skyrocket on the secondary market.
The toy will be limited to 8,000 pieces and will be sold exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2017, which takes place July 19-23 at the San Diego Convention Center.
In past years, the chance to own one of Funko’s SDCC exclusives has required attendees to camp overnight for a lottery ticket, at which point they would have to opportunity to purchase one of Funko’s exclusive toys if they’re lucky enough to be a winner.
