Brand new information about Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers has been revealed!
This fall, Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers comic book series by BOOM! Studios will release a few new issues as the Power Rangers enter the post-SHATTERED GRID storyline. The brand new storyline will feature a heavy focus on Rita Repulsa, and how she obtained the Green Ranger’s Power Coin.
However, series writer Ryan Parrott has a few surprises in stores, as seen in the main covers for the next few issues.
Fans who’ve been paying attention to the comic book series thus far have noticed a budding relationship between Jason and Trini. That relationship will evidently taken an incredibly romantic turn, as the heroes are seen kissing on the main cover of Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers #15 – releasing in December 2018.
That’s not the only twist fans will notice. Jason and Trini have also switched Ranger colors, and Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers #16, releasing in January 2019, will take that concept even further.
In the main cover for that issue, fans will see that Trini is now the team’s new Red Ranger. Zack is now the team’s Pink Ranger, Billy’s become the Black Ranger, Kimberly serves as the Blue Ranger, and Jason rounds out the team as the Yellow Ranger. Exact details as to why, and how, our teenagers with attitude have swapped colors remains unknown at this time.
Fans can check out all the new, main covers below for Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers #14, #15, and #16.
All the covers were designed by Dan Mora.
The news was revealed at BOOM! Studios’ Power Rangers panel at Power Morphicon 6 in Anaheim, California.

Awesome, when I first saw something going on between them in GGPR #3, I was excited to see a new relationship bud between rangers.
So we ARE going to see an Asian Red. Not the way I envisioned it, but I’ll take it.
Man Trini is getting around as she’s also hooked up with Zack in the pink series following Kimberly forming a new team.
So weird. I should be upset, but I’m more surprised if anything. Is this a canon series, or just for fun?
