Gamers will find the brand-new gameplay mechanics similar to Marvel vs. Capcom, and entirely different from Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, the hit mobile fighting game also developed by nWay.
Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid will also feature a unique Arcade story mode, and a brand new roster of characters different from Power Rangers: Legacy Wars.
Thus far, only the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Red Ranger, Green Ranger, and Power Rangers Super Megaforce Yellow Ranger have been announced. More characters will be revealed as the game’s release draws closer, and nWay has plans to continue adding characters well passed the game’s release through DLC packs available for purchase.
Despite the arrival of a brand new console game, nWay has no plans to slow down Power Rangers: Legacy Wars. The company will continue to develop content for both games, allowing fans to take their Power Rangers gaming experience to console, and mobile.
“Since the acquisition of the Power Rangers IP, we’ve been looking forward to bringing Power Rangers fans memorable experiences. With Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, we’re expanding the portfolio of great Power Rangers games to more platforms.” Mark Blecher, Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Affairs at Hasbro
The game will also feature cross-play, meaning gamers can interact with those across other consoles. Plus, gamers who unlock certain characters on one console, will find those same characters available to them across other gaming systems.
The game is designed for two players to fight at a time, with online playability available as well.

A Power Rangers fighting game for consoles & PC you say? Shut up and take my money.
A Power Rangers fighting game for consoles & PC you say? Shut up and take my money.
Why are the team still using that annoying Gokai Yellow outfit all the time?
Cuz it’s better than the Gosei Yellow outfit.
Is that still coming from you, or was that still coming from the treacherous, lazy and lying TZACHOR? Because I don’t believe. Just because people think that the Gokaiger outfits were better than the Goseiger outfits, doesn’t mean people should forget about the original Megaforce outfits and remember the ridiculous false and wrong type of Super Mode. And other people were right, the Gokaiger season should’ve been it’s own season. Plus, on the fanfiction.net, when I typed in “WHAT POWER RANGERS MEGAFORCE SHOULD’VE BEEN”, it said “PR Super Megaforce, produced by the treacherous, lazy scumbag Mr. Tzachor, was almost a complete deliberate disaster. And the Pirate theme did NOT make since. But with fanfiction, they rewrote the whole story right by only using the Goseiger outfits with Angel theme (which makes since to ME) and by getting Troy & Emma aka Red & Pink Sky Ranger Couple to only fall in love with each other right on time.” Now will you please get the picture?
Man Ill Agree that Tzachor did a bad job but you talk like he personally screwed you over.
Look, I dunno like the new PR video game, especially not the gokai pirate outfit nonsense.
Looking forward to seeing and playing Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid. This will be the best Power Rangers video game yet, although I liked Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle a bit. I hope they add Emma Goodall, the Pink Megaforce Ranger as a character as she is my favourite ranger. People always focus on Gia Moran, the Yellow Megaforce Ranger.

Don’t you mean, adding Troy Burrows & his true love interest Emma Goodall the Red & Pink Sky Ranger (angelic Goseiger outfits, NOT the devastating Gokaiger pirate junk outfits) as a true love couple as they are still my favourite personal Red & Pink Ranger Love Couple?
Still prefer the gokaiger outfits.
Please don’t start with the Gokaiger outfit and counterpart nonsense again. And besides, people were right about something, Gokaiger should’ve been its own season (which means never copy and paste their pirate counterpart stupidity).
And by the way, what makes you think that you prefer the gokaiger (stupid pirate motif) outfits instead of Goseiger outfits (miraculous angel motif), when Haim Saban made a serious mistake by hiring that Treacherous lazy dirtbag Tzachor to do a bad wannabe job on the Second season of Megaforce? Well? 😦
