Introducing Hero World – a brand new line of action figures created by Funko!
The line will be exclusive to Target and will include franchises ranging from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, to DC Comics, to Five Nights at Freddy’s. The first Hero World sets will launch at Target stores nationwide beginning in January 2018.
According to a press release issued by Target, the Hero World line is primarily aimed at kids, with the objective to introduce children to Funko fun.
Three packs have been released thus far for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: a core team set (featuring the Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, and Pink Rangers), a Green Ranger set (featuring the Green Ranger and his Dragonzord), and a White Ranger set (featuring the White Ranger and his Tigerzord).
The core team set will retail at approximately $24.99, with the Green and White Ranger packs retailing at approximately $6.99.
Each Ranger comes included with their individualized weapons.
The figures appear to be of a gummy texture, allowing for pose-ability in various stances. It is unknown at this time if other Mighty Morphin Power Rangers characters, or other Power Rangers seasons, will join Funko’s new Hero World line.
