The Power Rangers are coming to Netflix’s documentary, ‘The Toys That Made Us’!
‘The Toys That Made Us’ is a Netflix documentary series that focuses on the history of various toy lines. Thus far, the show has gone on to produce 2 season and 8 episodes, featuring popular toy lines ranging from LEGO, to Transformers, to Barbie, and beyond.
Now, Power Rangers will join the show’s stacked lineup as part of a third season on Netflix! The Power Rangers will be the first episode of four in season 3, with a premiere date yet to be named. The season is expected to release towards the end of 2018.
WWE, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and My Little Pony will accompany Power Rangers as part of the season 3 lineup.
Fans can expect the Power Rangers episode to touch on the TV show’s origins from Super Sentai in Japan, as well as the long lasting relationship between Haim Saban and Bandai.
While the show’s guests have yet to be named, TokuNation.com reports that Gregory Mitchell, former Director of Power Rangers products at Bandai America, will be one of the episode’s guests. More are expected to be announced at a later date.
‘The Toys That Made Us’ first premiered in December 2017, exclusively on Netflix.
The inclusion of Power Rangers as part of season 3 was first announced at San Diego Comic Con.
