The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are morphing into Minecraft!
The popular game is receiving a brand new Power Rangers pack update, as announced on Minecraft’s official website, which users can download for free on Console, Pocket, or Windows 10.
“Mighty Morphing Power Rangers? How about… Miney Morphing Power Rangers? Hmmm, maybe not. What’s got us so excited we’re throwing out puns this awful so early in the week? A new skin pack in Minecraft of course! The Power Rangers pack launches today on Console, Pocket and Windows 10 Edition. Go go, MINEY Morphing Power Rangers! (Hey, it’s catching on!)”
Players will be able to use this skin to build unreal worlds and sets, all based on the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV show. And included in the pack are not only are the core 6 Power Rangers (Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, Pink, Green), but so are popular series villains and allies such as Lord Zedd, Bulk & Skull, Ninjor, the Megazord, and more!
Minecraft artist Mike Fielder talked to WWG.com about what it means to finally give Minecraft such a mighty morphin boost.
“As a teen I remember getting out of school, grabbing a snack and settling into the cartoon line-up,. Part of that routine was watching Power Rangers. When I found out we would be working on a Minecraft version of some of the character line-up I was pretty excited and even more so when I found out Bulk and Skull would be included since they were my favorite characters. I had a blast creating Minecraft versions of these characters. I hope everyone who uses these skins has as much fun playing them as I did creating them.”
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Minecraft pack is available now!
My six year old has requested that I contact the maker of the power rangers skin pack to ask for the unmorphed version of the characters to be created. He would also like to know why you cannot have five players when there are five rangers.
