Bandai is bringing back fliphead figures for the Power Rangers movie!
Fliphead figures were first released in the 90’s for Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers. They became incredibly popular as they allowed fans to flip the action figure’s head between human mode, and Ranger mode.
Now, they’ll be making a return for Lionsgate’s upcoming Power Rangers movie, as Bandai’s 7″ action figures on Toys R Us give fans a look at the Red Ranger and Black Ranger versions upcoming.
Found in stores by Twitter user @CABAN81, the fliphead figures will allow fans to buy a toy version of Jason (portrayed by Dacre Montgomery) and Zack (portrayed by Ludi Lin), and flip between their Ranger modes. It is expected that flipheads for the remaining three Rangers will be released at a later date.
Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world- is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.
