Liongate’s upcoming Power Rangers movie will be rated PG-13.
The news should come as one of the least surprising stories thus far, as Saban’s Power Rangers has long been in the works to be geared towards a PG-13 audience. Character bio’s for the Rangers revealed that the movie will tackle very real-world concepts among teens including cyber bullying, loneliness, and inferiority.
The rating was confirmed during Qualcomm’s presentation at the Consumer Electronics Show, where a trailer for the Power Rangers Virtual Reality Experience debuted.
