The Power Rangers Movie is leaving New York, the site of Comic-Con, for Vancouver, the site of the movie’s filming. At least some of the cast (Dacre Montgomery, RJ Cyler) are confirmed to be back on set in Vancouver to film re-shoots this week and next, per YVRShoots.
The re-shoots are presumed to be school scenes, as filming will take place at Templeton Secondary School, one of the schools used to portray Angel Grove High in the movie. Director Dean Israelite first confirmed re-shoots were in the plans at San Diego Comic-Con in July.
Fans should be cautioned that re-shoots are not necessarily a bad sign. Many large budget Hollywood productions often film re-shoots in order to make certain scenes better, among various reasons.
